Perhaps, you have noticed an amazing connection between the physical sensations of pain tension, or other unusual symptoms like headaches or stomach aches, and the things that make you anxious. This has led me to become a discover multiple cutting edge systems from somatic psychotherapy traditions that address the patterns of how the body attempts to “bear the burden” and repress or react to overwhelming, or painful emotions, sometimes unconscious, from past trauma. Trauma from childhood often involves complex feelings like pain grief rage and love mixed together that are incredibly difficult to bear.
